The Regional Incubator for Sustainability & Entrepreneurship (RISE), a small business support program in Erie and Huron Counties, will host a special event focused on commercial property leasing. The “Truth About Commercial Landlords” event will take place on May 19th at 4pm at Saucy Brew Works in Sandusky, OH.

The speaker for the event will be Kula Hoty Lynch, Corporate Counsel with Hoty Enterprises, Inc. Hoty Lynch is an experienced attorney with expertise in leasing commercial property. She will share her insights on what small business owners can expect from landlords, how to prepare to sign a lease, what lease agreements typically include, how to protect your business, and how to vet potential landlords.

This event is for aspiring and existing small business owners who are currently leasing a storefront or who are interested in leasing a storefront in the future. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from an expert in the field and to network with other small business owners.

“We are thrilled to have Kula Hoty Lynch as our speaker for this event,” said Alissa Fisher, RISE Coordinator. “Small business owners often have many questions and concerns when it comes to leasing commercial property. We believe that this event will provide valuable information and guidance that can help entrepreneurs make informed decisions and protect their businesses.”

The “Truth About Commercial Landlords” event is free and open to the public. However, space is limited and registration is required. Interested individuals can register online at https://conta.cc/3Nk10yh. Saucy Brew Works is located at 215 E Water Street, Sandusky, OH.
